Dosage of Tamiflu
It is recommended to take Tamiflu 45mg twice a day for 5 days. The therapy should begin within 48 hours of influenza symptoms.
The usual dosage of Tamiflu 4 mg is up to 2-3 weeks. For 1 to 12 years weight up to 15 kg, the oral dosage of 30 mg is enough. Furthermore, weight from 15.1 kg to 23 kg 45 mg orally twice a day.
Moreover, for 13 years or older 75 mg orally twice a day will be a sufficient dosage.
The therapy should begin within 48 hours of the onset of influenza symptoms. For patients younger than 1 year an appropriate dosing device that can accurately measure and administer small volumes should be provided.
